I feel like a kid on Christmas Eve, except my Santa arrives about 7.30 tomorrow in the shape of an Uber.

I’m about to embark on a 2 month trip, covering some destinations I’ve had on the bucket list for what feels like an eternity. I’m underprepped, excited and more than a little nervous (especially at the thought of leaving my cats for 2 months).

I start off in the USA. Splitting my time mainly between New York and New Orleans. As a foodie, I am literally already drooling at the thought of all the brisket, crawfish and jambalaya that’s going to enter my face hole… omg the oysters. There’s going to be so many oysters.

After a few weeks of sweltering through the deep south of America’s Summer, I have so wisely chosen to enter the 10-15 degree (c) top of an Icelandic and Norwegian summer. Think boiled sheeps heads, rotten, sorry, fermented fish in a can and reindeer balls to name a few delicacies on the list.

Yes. It is as hard to pack for this as you imagine. I’m channelling my best onion and making it all about the layers.

After a quick stint in the UK, by the start of September, I join the Australian World Hide and Seek Championship team in Northern Italy. That’s a whole other blog, head here to read about our team “The Nascondingos” for now.

I finish off in the Cote D’azur, recovering from all the excitement in Nice. It’s been a pretty shitty 18 months, so this is going to be a bit of an “Eat, Pray, Love” experience… but replace the Pray and the Love with Eat and Eat.

I haven’t even planned the majority of my itinerary, hoping I can couch surf for for most of this, and flying by the seat of my (hopefully not soiled) pants.
